About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator to join our In-House Maintenance Team at Horizon Housing Association. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services to our customers across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and plan work to achieve required standards and timescales
  • Work independently and as part of the wider maintenance team
  • Deliver cyclical and reactive painting work programmes
  • Provide excellent customer care and meet customer expectations
  • Work in a supportive and trusting environment with opportunities for creative and innovative solutions
Requirements
  • City and Guilds or SVQ/NVQ qualification in painting and decorating
  • Experience in painting and decorating in occupied properties
  • Good standard of IT literacy and knowledge of email
  • Experience of cost control related to painter work
  • Commitment to deliver quality and continuous improvement
  • Proven experience of providing excellent customer care
