About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our dynamic team at Asda Opticians, committed to excellence in healthcare. As a skilled Optometrist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and service, working closely with our in-store, regional, and home office teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, ensuring a memorable experience for our customers.
  • Contribute to the development of new patient services and shape the culture of the department.
  • Work collaboratively with our teams to achieve excellent service levels and foster positive relationships within the team and the wider community.
  • Use your clinical skills and passion for the role to deliver a high-quality service, meeting the ever-changing eye care needs of our customers.

Requirements:

  • A fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
  • A registered performer with your NHS area team or health board.
  • MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda – funded and supported by us).
  • On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
