Senior Psychologist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Psychologist to join our team at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children. As a Senior Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist assessments and treatment for young people supported in our residence.
About the Role
- Provide specialist assessments and treatment for young people supported in the residence.
- Contribute to the care of our rangatahi by providing advice and training for our team to improve practices and site-initiated programmes.
- Support trauma-informed practice and provide staff development training and individual assessment and treatment to rangatahi.
About You
- NZ Psychologist registration with a Masters' Degree in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling).
- Understanding of the impact of neuro-disability, trauma, and attachment on a young person's behaviour.
