Job Title: Senior Buyer/Category Manager
Location: Remote - occasional travel required
Duration: 12 months initially

The Role:
As a Category Management Lead, you will work with our direct category teams to deliver tenders and initiatives that meet the needs of our stakeholders across the UK and US. You will be responsible for leading multiple sourcing events and developing a category strategy that ensures optimal solutions.
Responsibilities:
Value-Driven Strategic Sourcing: Lead sourcing events and deliver high-value and complex tenders.
Category Management: Develop and deliver a category strategy, identifying and executing value initiatives.
Supplier Management and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with global suppliers and collaborate with stakeholders to build partnerships that drive innovation and value.
Procurement Advisor: Set standards for procurement excellence and coach and guide other Category Leads and Assistants.
Requirements:
Significant experience in leading category strategies and managing tendering events.
Prior experience as a Senior Category Lead or Senior Buyer.
Effective communication and team-building skills to engage stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
Ability to analyze commercial issues and bring insight to costs and contracts.
CIPS qualification or working towards is advantageous, but not essential.
