Job Summary

The Nelson Trust is seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Women's Justice Specialist in Gloucester. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting women involved in the criminal justice system, experiencing multiple vulnerabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of women, undertaking needs assessments, support planning, and delivering rehabilitative interventions to enable women to break down barriers and achieve lasting change.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area to ensure holistic support for women.
  • Utilise a trauma-informed approach to engage women and address their needs, including one-to-one support, outreach, and group interventions.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent engagement skills when working with women and a track record of developing effective partnerships with specialist organisations.
  • Have a commitment to making a difference in women's lives and be passionate about supporting women in a holistic, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed way.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week. The role is restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010.
