Job Description

**Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Production Operative to join our team in a food manufacturing environment.
  • As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out duties such as working on production lines, feeding machines, packing on lines, conducting quality control, and boxing and preparing the finished product ready for dispatch to our customers.
  • You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing site and good communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, with various shift patterns available, including early morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
  • Over time will be available depending on business needs.
  • Candidates must be able to get to Westhoughton for the start of their shift and be available to work flexible hours.
  • Risk assessment and induction will be carried out by our client on the first day of assignment.
  • Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside the building before work, during lunch breaks, and after work.
  • Candidates must have safety boots and high-visibility clothing.

**Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shift patterns
  • Ability to lift products up to 20kg
