Senior Arborist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Arborist to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard. As a Senior Arborist, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of tree works using the appropriate machinery and equipment, to the current industry standards in accordance with the needs of particular tree species and their associated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out tree works using the appropriate machinery and equipment.
• Maintain and direct the use of plant, equipment, and machinery in a safe and competent manner.
• Ensure all safety checks are carried out in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Assist the crew in traffic management and control as and when needed.
• Maintain the mechanical condition and security of vehicles and machinery used in operations.
• Hold NPTC units CS30, 31, 38 & 39.
• Hold a current full driving licence for a manual vehicle.
• Have knowledge of current arboricultural practices, management, and maintenance techniques, including legislation and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in tree care and arboriculture.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
