We're looking for a Freelance Childcare Tutor to join our team. As an associate tutor, you will be responsible for delivering a timetable of teaching, learning, and assessment as agreed with your Tutor Delivery Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a timetable of teaching, learning, and assessment as agreed with your Tutor Delivery Manager.
Undertake qualification delivery planning in collaboration with team members that is compliant with all external requirements.
Ensure support systems are provided to facilitate positive retention, achievement, and progression.
Monitor attendance and performance of the learners on an ongoing basis and effectively report to management.
Promote and ensure safe working practices and safeguarding of learners in line with current Health and Safety legislation and LCG Safeguarding and Prevent policies.
Requirements
We're looking for an individual with a Level 3 Teaching Qualification and Assessing Qualification. You should have relevant occupational experience in the sector you're applying for.
Level 3 and above sector qualifications are also essential. You should have access to your own resources and be able to use them effectively.
What We Offer
As an associate tutor, you will have flexibility in choosing how often you want to teach. This allows you to accommodate other commitments. You will receive all course information prior to accepting work.
Support is also available from your Tutor Delivery Manager, starting with an in-depth onboarding process and regular contact and updates over Microsoft Teams or face-to-face.
Recruitment Checks
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners. The successful candidate will be required to provide satisfactory references and prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
Adverse media checks will also be carried out, and a DBS check will be performed. You will be asked to provide information related to previous convictions if you are shortlisted for an interview.
Please be assured that a previous conviction does not automatically rule you out of a role unless you are barred from working with children or adults.
