We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in Bridgnorth. In this role, you will take new and existing concepts into production from CAD/CAM through to CNC Machining. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Features

This is an attractive salary of £45,000 per annum base salary (days) plus shift allowance plus 15% (PM) or 20% (nights). The successful candidate will have an apprenticeship or degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical engineering with relevant manufacturing experience. Additionally, they should have experience and knowledge of CAD/CAM, as well as in-depth knowledge of online ISO programming.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the introduction of new products and processes
  2. Liaise with suppliers for sub-contract processing
  3. Support costing of new work
  4. Setting and Operation of CNC machines for the prove out process of new products
  5. Manufacturing process planning
  6. CNC offline Program creation
  7. Program storage and management
  8. Training and instruction of others in offline programming
  9. CNC cutting tool selection and procurement
  10. Fixture design and procurement when appropriate
  11. Customer liaison on design for manufacture and general technical issues
  12. Data control, route cards, drawing control & control plans via NPI system
  13. Introduce and progress New Products through the shop

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and disciplined, with a confident communication style and ability to motivate others. They will also have a good understanding of CMM inspection methods, geometric tolerances, and practices.
