We are working closely with a Primary School in North Somerset who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work as a member of a team supporting the learning of children with SEND and SEMH needs.

The school has a clear pedagogy, inclusive and exciting curriculum, and high expectations of their staff and pupils' achievements.

This position is to start from September, where you will be working closely with a few SEN children across the school.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who has previous experience working as a TA or with SEN children. Someone who is flexible and communicates well with others to ensure the pupils' needs are met.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference to all children, have some knowledge of phonics, and have some experience or knowledge of SEND.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be expected to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Working with Long-term Teachers:
