Delegated Authority Officer Opportunity

Finitas is partnering with a well-established London market insurer to find a skilled Delegated Authority Officer to join their team.

About the Role

This is a dynamic delegated authority position that offers a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting the governance of all delegated authorities written.
  • Attending Lloyd's or Market DA meetings.
  • Providing day-to-day support to junior members of the team.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the annual review of the Delegated Authority process guides.
  • Delivering the quarterly Delegated Authority Controls Reviews and presenting findings.
  • Processing Lead DCOM entries.
  • Processing New Coverholder Applications.
  • Processing mid-term contract changes.
  • Deputising for the Head of Delegated Authority as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical delegated authority role.
  • Experience of Coverholder Applications and conducting Coverholder due diligence.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships at varying levels with both internal and external parties.
  • Collaborative team player but also has the ability to work independently.
  • Able to multi-task whilst working in a challenging but rewarding environment.
