You will be instrumental in supporting our amazing students, assisting them by creating a culture of success, ensuring they have a positive attitude to learning to increase their life chances, attainment and social and emotional development.

The successful candidate will work as part of our inclusion team to support students in all necessary interventions. A key focus will be to increase student's ability to access all areas of the curriculum. Examples of the work the successful candidate will be expected to deliver are:

  • Take responsibility for a caseload of students inside and outside of the classroom during structured or unstructured time.
  • Assess the needs of students and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support students' educational progress and attainment.
  • Detect and address potential issues that may hinder student progress and implement strategies to overcome these challenges.
  • Track and monitor student life-skill targets and/or EHCP outcomes, discussing progress with parents and agreeing new targets/EHCP outcomes at Interim Reviews.

As part of a growing multi-academy trust, the successful candidate will be well supported and have access to a range of high-quality professional development through the Outwood Institute of Education.

A competitive salary of £17,479.09 - £18,319.9 per annum reflects the importance of this role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.
