Fundraising Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Fundraising Manager to join our team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a lead role in shaping and delivering our charity fundraising strategy, leading our growing team, and making a real impact for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive charity fundraising strategy, aligned with the Trust's goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the charity fundraising team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local NHS charity leads, NHS Charities Together, and our fundraisers, partners, and ambassadors.
- Cultivate and steward major donors, corporates, and community fundraisers to support our charity's ambitions.
- Develop and maintain effective fundraising campaigns, events, and activities to engage our supporters and drive income growth.
- Work closely with the communications team to promote the charity's work, share success stories, and raise awareness of our fundraising activities.
- Manage budgets, track income, and report on fundraising performance to ensure the charity's financial sustainability.
Person Specification
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Fundraising Manager who can:
- Show a proven track record of delivering and exceeding against targets, managing budgets, and reporting.
- Demonstrate excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to communicate and develop relationships with a wide range of individuals, groups, and stakeholders.
- Have a strong understanding of the charity sector, fundraising legislation, and Codes of Practice.
- Be able to work independently with autonomy, managing a number of projects and demands, and have a desire to do the very best for our patients and have empathy with the aims and objectives of our charity.
