Job Overview

This role involves operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as tandem trucks, motor graders, and front-end loaders for summer and winter maintenance on the provincial transportation network. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 1A license and have experience working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to ensure the safety of the travelling public
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular servicing and repairs
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and maintain a healthy and safe work environment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1A license
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions
