About the Role
Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking a Director of Curriculum to join its College Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the college's curriculum, ensuring it meets the local and national skills priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the local and national skills priorities
- Lead a team of Curriculum Team Leaders and manage a range of curriculum departments
- Design, plan, and implement a curriculum that engages learners and helps them achieve their maximum potential
- Oversee the implementation of day-to-day operational matters and pay attention to detail
- Think strategically and be innovative in the development of the curriculum
Requirements
- Qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths
- Evidence of qualifications required
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and be innovative
