Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at the Chartered Management Institute. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries of products across multiple projects simultaneously and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IT products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, and communicate progress and status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and customer support, to ensure that projects are meeting customer needs and requirements
  • Manage project risks and issues and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts on project timelines and budgets
  • Support the Transformation Programme Manager with the three key business objectives: data strategy, user experience, and business continuity
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in delivering large-scale transformation projects focused on customer user experience (internal & external)
  • Excellent project management skills, delivery-focused, and able to work at pace with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile/Scrum, Jira, and Confluence
  • Previous experience guiding and training project managers and ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time and within budget
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent organisational and planning skills with an agile and flexible approach
