Company Overview

This highly regarded company specializes in the design and manufacture of precision fabricated components and thermal insulation solutions for the motorsport and automotive industries.

They support customers racing in prestigious championships around the world, including IndyCar, F1, and the WRC.

Job Details

Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm

Location: Aylesbury

The machine shop consists of three state-of-the-art machines, including a CNC Lathe, a 3-axis Hurco CNC Miller, and a 5-axis Hurco CNC Miller.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming and setting up CNC Turning machines with Fanuc controls
  • Operating HyperMILL CNC milling machines, with desirable but not essential experience
  • Assessing engineering drawings to determine the most efficient strategy for creating machined parts
  • Maintaining quality targets by liaising with the Quality Engineer
  • Ensuring accurate lead times are agreed with the Machine shop supervisor
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record in programming using Fanuc
  • Experience with Prog/Set/operation of CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls
  • 3 and 5-axis milling experience is advantageous
  • Off-line programming experience with HyperMILL is again an advantage but not essential
