About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead our commercial management team in a busy and fast-paced rail maintenance and asset management project environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for heading up the commercial management of design, culverts, and building/civils asset management projects within our asset management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial management of multiple sites on time and to budget.
  • Pricing and ensuring estimates are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Resolving pricing issues with clients.
  • Client liaison and communication.
  • Liaison with site managers to collate information on day-to-day remits.
  • Subcontractor management and coordination.
  • Change management and early warnings.
  • Contract administration (NEC/NR forms of contract).
  • Final accounting and financial reporting.
  • Management and supervision of a small commercial team.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (BSc/HNC/HND).
  • Contractual experience with NEC or bespoke NR forms of contract.
  • Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a rail environment.
  • Experience working in a civils maintenance framework environment.
