Job Title: Professor in Cognitive Neuroscience

We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to join our team as a Professor in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong research background and experience in teaching and leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing world-leading activity in brain health research and teaching, contributing to senior academic leadership capacity in the Centre for Human Brain Health (CHBH), and pursuing sustained research activity through original research and scholarship.

This role offers a competitive salary of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position also comes with a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional development.

The ideal candidate will have a higher degree relevant to the research/teaching area, demonstrated excellence in research, learning and teaching, and management and administration. They will also be able to contribute to the development of teaching, learning and assessment policies and strategies, act as an education mentor to colleagues, and engage in external quality assurance activities related to teaching.
