Job Title: Night Porter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Night Porter to join our team at Mercure Walton Hall Hotel & Spa. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests with luggage and other requests
  • Deliver guest mail, newspapers, and express check-out bills to rooms
  • Collect room service and breakfast cards
  • Assist Night Management with fire management and emergency procedures
  • Enhance fire procedures and react in case of an emergency
  • Act in accordance with all security and emergency procedures
  • Attend training courses and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts
  • Demonstrate current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work evening and weekend shifts
  • Resilient and able to multitask
  • Ability to work under pressure
