About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandiser to join our team at DFS Group. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring timely stock delivery to meet sales and launch targets while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage stock forecasts and optimize product ranges to drive performance across all channels.
  • Collaborate with buyers to deliver a commercial and cohesive range in line with plan.
  • Provide data to inform better buying decisions, including regular reporting on key KPIs.
  • Work with the buying team and finance team to establish clear ways of working with roles and responsibilities clearly defined.
  • Communicate stock-related information and manage stakeholders across the business.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to optimize trading performance.
  • Excellent influencing skills and ability to communicate and work cross-functionally at all levels of the business.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to a constantly changing retail environment.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate professional integrity by supporting changes and decisions that move the business forward.
