Culinary Apprentice

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Culinary Apprentice to join our team at Harvester East Kilbride. In this role, you will work under the guidance of our experienced chefs to develop your culinary skills and knowledge.

As a Culinary Apprentice, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals to specification, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. You will also have the opportunity to learn from our experienced team members and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for cooking and a desire to learn and develop their skills. They will also be able to work well as part of a team and maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to start their career in the hospitality industry and work towards a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship. Our training program includes face-to-face and remote catch-ups every 4-6 weeks, on-the-job training, workshops, and webinars. You will also receive feedback sessions to discuss your progress and obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths if needed.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including 30 hours paid work per week, 33% discount across all our brands, funded qualification up to degree level, charity opportunities, and more.
