Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team at CV Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the lead on projects valued between £1m-£30m under NEC3 & NEC4 contracts as part of our AMP7 & upcoming AMP8 Yorkshire Water frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Production of accurate project cost reporting, commercial dashboards and project cost forecast
  2. Identification and evaluation of commercial risks and opportunities for improved performance
  3. Subcontract evaluation and management
  4. Assist in the production of accurate and timely Cost Value Reports
  5. Provide commercial support to all ongoing Project and Commercial reviews
  6. Assisting with valuations
  7. Building relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
  8. Assisting in the development on junior members of staff

The ideal candidate will have 1 year plus experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Civil Engineering or Utilities and hold a HNC/HND/BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification. We offer a highly competitive salary & package for the role, further training and progression opportunities (i.e., help towards MSc/Chartership, and a clear route to more senior roles in the business).
