Senior Design Engineer Opportunity

Luton Bennett is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products, primarily mechanical and sheet metal design work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new products, utilizing Creo & Windchill or Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
  • Apply design tools such as DFMEA and six sigma tolerance analysis.
  • Participate in and lead design reviews.
  • Engage with customers, establishing needs and updating them on project progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing projects and working closely with customers.
  • Responsible for mechanical aspects of design, including static load, dynamic load, and vibration.
  • Ability to work from customer specifications and create designs from scratch.
  • Higher education or qualification in mechanical engineering, preferably a Degree or equivalent.
