This Finance Support role at Fairfield Independent Hospital is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop their skills in financial administration. As an Apprentice Accounts Assistant, you will work closely with the Financial Accountant to perform daily bank reconciliations and produce regular reports of Excel data.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong communication and IT skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will be working towards an AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (level 2) and will receive training at St Helens College Town Centre Campus, one day a week (term time only).

In this role, you will also be responsible for reconciling the Hospital's credit card on a monthly basis, supporting the Business Manager with the monthly consultants payment, and producing consistent, accurate, timely, permanent, economical, and effective minutes of any meetings requested.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £19,500-£22,000, depending on experience, and includes benefits such as paid holiday time and opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities
