About the Role:

Clinical Admins will work in a dynamic specialist-run clinic managing cardiometabolic risk factors through patient care and education. This role focuses on individual consultations, taking vitals, performing ECGs, educating patients, and supporting clinic physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Education and Disease Management: Collaborate with patients to develop strategies for disease management and prevention.
  • Documenting Patient Interactions: Accurately record patient interactions, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Vital Sign Taking and ECGs: Take vital signs and perform ECGs as required by medical professionals.
  • Supporting Clinic Physicians: Assist physicians during medical visits, providing support and information as needed.
  • Patient Inquiries and Complaints: Handle patient inquiries and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the in-office team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing, Kinesiology, or Health Sciences: A degree in one of these fields is required for this role.
  • Oscar EMR and Ocean MD Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Oscar EMR and Ocean MD is necessary for accurate record-keeping and communication.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required for effective patient care and collaboration with the team.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: The ability to take initiative and problem-solve is critical for addressing unexpected situations and challenges.
  • Sensitive Information Handling: Experience handling sensitive information is necessary for maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities is essential for success in this role.

Compensation:

This part-time or full-time position offers $35-$50 per hour, negotiable based on experience. With 20-40 hours per week, you can enjoy a flexible schedule that suits your needs.
