Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Pioneer Selection Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our heavy-duty manufacturing equipment. Your focus will be on minimizing downtime by quickly responding to breakdowns and performing scheduled maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on heavy manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure efficient running of machinery by identifying and rectifying faults in a timely manner.
• Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment according to health and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and update systems accordingly.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a heavy manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (multi-skilled experience preferred).
• Ability to work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with industrial health and safety standards.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
