Job Summary: We are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our team at Ashworth Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience working with service users in a secure setting. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in sensory integration therapy and contribute to the growth and success of our Occupational Therapy Team.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide sensory integration assessments and treatments to service users
- Collaborate with other Occupational Therapy staff to plan and deliver individual and group activities
- Develop and implement individualized programs of care that promote independence and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in healthcare, particularly in a secure setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Health Promotion strategies and clinical governance principles

Working Conditions:
This role will involve working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often with multiple priorities and deadlines. You must be able to remain calm and composed under pressure, while maintaining a positive and supportive attitude towards service users and colleagues.
