About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed lecturer to join our team at New City College London's Atlee A-Level Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching A Level Economics and Accounting, including elements of Maths, and will have the ability to teach across different age ranges from Functional Skills to GCSE.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a determination to secure strong progress and raising achievement of all students. They will also have excellent subject knowledge, good communication skills, and a commitment to equal opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Teach A Level Economics and Accounting, including elements of Maths
  • Teach across different age ranges from Functional Skills to GCSE
  • Encourage students to achieve their maximum potential

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will have a degree in mathematics and a minimum Level 5 teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards this. They will also have excellent subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and a determination to secure strong progress and raising achievement of all students.

Preferred skills include prior experience of teaching and a positive attitude towards working in the sector.
