Job Overview
As a Data Architect at JM Longbridge Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data strategy for our Defence clients. This is a permanent position that requires SC/DC clearance, and you will be working in a hybrid environment with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. The role is based in either Surrey or Southampton, with a salary range of £75K - £100K.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing data-intensive solutions, working closely with Client Managers to identify business growth opportunities. Your expertise will be essential in defining the architecture for data software and analytics solutions, as well as providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data strategies for Defence clients, defining the appropriate level of governance and processes.
  • Communicate data strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design and architect data software and analytics solutions, either as standalone engagements or within larger programmes.
  • Support Sales and Campaign functions in developing client relationships and high-level technical requirements.
  • Represent technical solutions and capabilities to client communities.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements
  • Experience in building and specifying data pipelines in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of commercial and contractual frameworks.
  • SC/DV clearance is essential for this role.
