CS Construction Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Civils / Highways Site Agent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a multi-skilled team of engineers, subcontractors, and other construction experts.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and monitor the performance of your team to ensure high standards of safety and quality.
- Take responsibility for particular activities or sections of civil engineering projects.
- Set performance targets and carry out analysis to ensure your team is working efficiently.
- Be involved in the procurement of subcontractors.
- Benefit from our company's scale and diversity by progressing quickly and exploring professional passions and established career paths.
- Experience of allocating resource and encouraging a team to take ownership.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to set targets in line with budgets.
- A driving licence, CSCS Card, and SMSTS qualification.
- A track record of solving issues and being a sound decision maker.
- The ability to read technical drawings and information.
- The flexibility to work unsociable hours on occasion.
- Experience of working on Highways and Flood Defence projects.
