About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Specialist to join our team at Tokamak Energy, a leading commercial fusion energy company. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of clean and sustainable energy.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including MOUs, Collaboration Agreements, Sales Agreements, Purchasing and Supply Agreements, and Research Agreements. They will also provide counsel to internal teams on various legal topics and develop contracting templates reflecting the nuances of the company's strategy and risk-profile.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex contracting scenarios, develop commercially focused solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification to practise as a solicitor in England and Wales
  • Experience in contract and commercial law, with complementary knowledge in other areas of law
  • Demonstrable experience in applying law to complex business scenarios and developing commercially focused solutions
  • Strong skills in legal research and analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
