Job Opportunity: Streetworks / NRSWA Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Streetworks / NRSWA Inspector to join our client in West Yorkshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all streetworks and road works comply with the requirements of the NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act 2004, while minimizing disruption to the public.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting the work carried out by utility and highways contractors to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Coordinating and issuing permits for works across the area.
  • Assessing traffic management plans to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting section 81 inspections and customer complaint resolutions.
  • Core sampling and defect inspection.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in streetworks and NRSWA compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and NRSWA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
