About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Junior IT Support Specialist to join our Customer Support team at Allocate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, ensuring their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial point of contact for customers and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage incoming requests from the Customer Portal and log incidents via the Service Management Tool.
- Escalate incidents to the appropriate resolver group and provide customers with timely updates to their cases.
- Develop strong customer relationships through direct communication and achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively review customer accounts and manage their own case queue in line with Service Desk procedures.
- Escalate high-priority issues to Line Management and update knowledgebase articles.
- Complete regular tasks in line with Service Desk procedures and review daily priorities to ensure results are achieved.
- Work with all areas of the business to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and assist in the promotion of new developments and applications.
- Monitor integrity/status of customer sites and ensure Customers business requirements are maintained to the highest level.
Requirements
- Candidate must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to develop effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to gather, verify, and assess information to gain an accurate understanding of situations and make clear, timely, justifiable decisions.
- Effective planning and organizing skills, with the ability to determine a course of action and break it down into smaller steps.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with Allocate colleagues and customers, and respond appropriately to feedback.
- Positive attitude and ability to meet business goals and respond well to change.
