About the Role

Mace, a leading international consultancy and construction company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Business Advisory Lead.

This role is a key part of our European Hub, where you will be responsible for leading the development of an integrated advisory offer to meet market needs and priorities. You will work closely with sector and discipline leads to assess opportunities, create and manage a pipeline of work, and drive growth across Europe.

As a Business Advisory Lead, you will play a pivotal role in resourcing and team selection, bringing together specialist multi-professional teams to meet and exceed client expectations. You will be responsible for leading strategy development, business plans, and go-to-market strategies, as well as service excellence and quality management on commissions across a portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy development & business plans
  • Lead go-to-market strategy, client relations, and business development/position of the Advisory service offer across Europe
  • Lead service excellence and quality management on commissions across a portfolio
  • Lead the professional development, retention, and progression of talented teams
  • Develop thought leadership and industry insights to raise the profile of the Mace advisory offer
  • Achieve operational excellence, delivering the required commercial outcomes
  • Set the tone culture and model behaviours for Mace advisory
  • Lead go-to-market strategy, client relations, and business development/position of the advisory service offer in target markets

Requirements:

  • Experience of developing a vision and leading all aspects of delivery
  • Experience of strategic leadership in all components of project and programme management and delivery related to property or infrastructure
  • Experience of delivering client or organisational strategy
  • Ability to apply cross-sector thinking
  • Considered a subject matter expert in one or more specialist capabilities
  • In-depth experience of delivery of an advisory service and demonstrates added value to programme and project delivery
  • Significant experience of leading a service line in a specialist field
