Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmaceutical Assistant to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fixed-term position for 24 months, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30, with additional weekend and bank holiday rota.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supply stock medicines to wards and departments across the trust;
  • Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Provide a delivery service of medicines to wards on site;
  • Participate in stock control maintenance;
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels of medicines on wards and departments by participating in the pharmacy ward topping up service;

The successful candidate will work as part of a pharmacy team to deliver the pharmacy service to North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Trust.
