The Senior Estimator role within the Prime Power Team at AVK-SEG has responsibility for quality, process, and the high standards our customers expect. This position requires an effective and accurate pricing process in conjunction with the sales team to ensure gross margins are accurately quoted on customer bids, tenders, and quotations.

• Collaborate with Project and Design Teams to prepare and analyze drawings and documents for tenders.
• Prepare and distribute enquiries to subcontractors and manufacturers.
• Research materials, equipment, and labor costs to maintain client expectations.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to off-grid gas power plants.
• Continuously improve estimating process and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze exchange rates and pricing structures to ensure competitiveness.
• Identify and report on risks, opportunities, and scope considerations.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular reports to management.
• Ensure tender submissions comply with Health and Safety legislation and AVK-SEG policies.
• Supervise and mentor junior estimators to ensure they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
• Support the sales team by being a main point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding project estimates, progress updates, and any other relevant information.

• Proven experience as an Estimator.
