Job Title: Senior Consultant

Aquarius Population Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading projects and project teams with a high level of autonomy, providing senior-level support and counsel as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead projects with the support of senior team members, ensuring successful delivery to time and budget.
  • Manage project timelines, supervise team members, and define project plans to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Assess and manage project risks, escalating issues as necessary, and maintain the highest standards of work and thinking.
  • Engage with clients to create opportunities for new or follow-on business, and manage client expectations through strategic discussions and presentations.
  • Drive internal development, support the delivery of training, and engage in public speaking and presentation.
  • Line manage Analysts/Consultants, supporting their professional development and encouraging the development of project teams.
Requirements:
  • PhD/MSc in Health Economics, Data Science, Business, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related quantitative/qualitative field, or BSc/BA with equivalent experience and skills.
  • Previous and proven post-graduate experience, with fluency in English (written/oral) essential.
  • Extensive experience in health, healthcare, and medical decision problems, with strong numeracy skills and technical writing abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain healthy and productive relationships with clients, collaborators, and the internal team.
Desirable:
  • Experience of research in commercial healthcare markets, with knowledge and experience of health economic evaluations, economic modeling, and costing health services.
  • Statistical/econometric analysis and interpretation, with experience in conducting qualitative and/or market research.
  • Programming skills in languages such as R, STATA, SAS, SPSS, and knowledge of the UK healthcare system and data sources.

  • Highly motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, and committed to making an impact in healthcare.
  • Excellent work ethic and integrity, with a strong client focus and ability to build relationships and negotiate with clients.
  • Able to work independently and in a team, with good presentation writing and delivery skills, and the capacity to develop strong relationships.
  • People management skills and strong leadership potential, with multitasking and time management skills and experience.
