Internal Verifier Opportunity

CIH Housing Academy is seeking a skilled Internal Verifier to ensure the standardization and consistency of its housing qualifications. As an Internal Verifier, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our assessments and supporting our tutors in delivering exceptional learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend internal verification meetings and tutor meetings to ensure the quality of assessments
  • Prepare and contribute to level-specific standardization sessions
  • Support other level-specific standardization sessions as required
  • Contribute to wider internal quality assurance processes, including providing feedback on assessments and unit specifications
  • Sample at least 20% of assessed work by the end of the course for each cohort

Requirements:

  • Recent internal verification or external examining experience in a learning environment
  • Continuing professional development in teaching, learning, and assessment, and the housing sector
  • Working with a team of assessors
