Job Title: Lead Analysis Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Analysis Engineer to join our team on a major project located in the UK.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning and design phase of projects. Under the direction of the Project Engineering Manager, you will interact with other disciplines, project support groups, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives as appropriate on an assigned project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex engineering calculations, prepare specifications, conduct analyses, perform testing, issue reports, and maintain related data.
  • Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and review drawings as required to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Advise the Lead Project Engineer on the status of assigned tasks, including schedule, delays, and adverse problems.
  • Ensure quality, quantity, and completeness of assigned engineering tasks.
  • Plan and schedule engineering efforts associated with assigned projects.
  • Maintain timely and accurate oral and written technical reports regarding assigned engineering activities.
  • Keep proper engineering files and records, including computer software and applications associated with engineering assignments.
  • Continually upgrade technical knowledge and capabilities and pursue additional training to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Express ideas clearly and listen effectively to the ideas of others to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Familiar with codes, permits, and company cornerstone applications to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Familiar with the work sequence, general content, and methods used to generate specifications for the purchase of material, equipment, systems, services, or construction within the engineer's discipline.
  • Can read and understand construction drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation.
  • Can fully integrate constructability concerns into engineering solutions to optimize project outcomes.
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have a degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in highly regulated industries, with a proven track record of delivering projects of over £1 million.
  • Proven excellent analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage high-value projects, with previous experience of working in a similar role.
  • Proven knowledge of nuclear site decommissioning and waste management, with a strong understanding of relevant codes and regulations.

You will be eligible for UK SC security clearance.
