As a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Bioinformatics, you will be working in the Epigenetics of Haematopiesis lab at The University of Manchester. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze multi-omic data, focusing on single/bulk cell RNA/DNA/epigenome analysis. You will be responsible for low-level QC and mapping, statistical analysis, data visualization, machine learning, and biological interpretation. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of tools and workflows, experimental design, and writing up work for journal papers and presentations.

The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline and must be familiar with high-throughput sequencing data analysis methods. Experience in programming languages such as R, Python, C/C++, or Java is essential, as well as good communication and recording skills. Strong statistical data analysis skills are highly desirable.

The post holder will be based at the Paterson Research Building in Manchester and will work collaboratively with colleagues across cancer sciences.
