An exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Financial Data Analyst Lead to join the prestigious twentyAI, a leading private bank based in London.

About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished professional to oversee our data management activities and drive business excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial services, data governance, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks, enhancing data quality, and supporting digital transformation projects. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days per week in the office and is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement data governance policies, standards, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with business units to define data quality metrics and ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data catalogs.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation plans.
  • Assist in data lifecycle management, including classification, retention, and disposal strategies.
  • Facilitate data governance forums and provide clear communication to stakeholders on data governance initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data management best practices and provide training to teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in data governance, data management, or a similar role within the financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) and data quality management principles.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar.
  • Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) and data analysis tools.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Salary:

This position offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth.
