Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Room Attendant to join our team at CAEP | Center For American Exchange Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of guest rooms, as well as providing exceptional customer service to guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clean and maintain guest rooms, including dusting, polishing, and vacuuming.
  2. Ensure all areas of the room are tidy, including restrooms, furniture, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
  3. Perform housekeeping tasks, such as changing bed linens, making beds, and replenishing towels, linens, toilet tissue, toiletries, and complimentary supplies.
  4. Manage waste by emptying wastebaskets, cleaning ashtrays, and transporting trash and waste to disposal areas.
  5. Maintain storage areas and carts, keeping them well-stocked and clean.
  6. Dust and polish furniture and equipment, and sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  7. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
  8. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as necessary to meet company standards.
  9. Care for heavy items and use a wheeled cart to transport supplies.

Compensation Package: Estimated annual salary: $25,000 - $35,000 based on location and industry standards.
