Job Title: Youth Engagement Mentor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Youth Engagement Mentor to join our team at Ingeus. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships with young people, providing guidance, support, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with young people and provide guidance, support, and social development.
  • Work with disengaged/ex-offending young people to reduce first-time offending and prevent further offending.
  • Develop and implement effective mentorship programs to support young people's personal and social development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting young people.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people, particularly those who are disengaged or ex-offending.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
