About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities.
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective delivery of maintenance services.
- Coordinate and oversee building projects and renovations to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and health and safety standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
- Technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in operating modern maintenance technology, including ERP and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
