Logistics Courier

Job Summary: Meriden Media is seeking a skilled Delivery Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters to customers in the Chatham area.

About the Role: This is a temporary but potentially ongoing position, with immediate starts available subject to DBS checks. You will be paid £13.37 per hour and will work approximately 5-7 shifts per week, Monday to Sunday, with varying hours depending on location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver parcels and letters to customers in the Chatham area
• Sort mail at the local delivery office before completing your round
• Use a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries
• Complete your round in the most economical route, provided by the hand-held computer

Requirements: We are looking for an upbeat and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working alone and as part of a team. You should have a strong sense of community and be able to adapt to flexible working patterns. As Royal Mail delivers come rain or shine, we need someone who is reliable and willing to work in a variety of weather conditions.
