Key Responsibilities- Assess Risk and Set Prices: Accurately assess risk and set prices for group protection products, ensuring compliance with Group Protection Scheme Underwriting guidelines and philosophy.
- Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Provide unrivalled service to new and existing customers, driving the achievement of team shared financial targets around portfolio and business growth.
- Lead and Collaborate: Demonstrate strong leadership and ownership, ensuring you and your team colleagues contribute to collective business goals and objectives across Group Protection.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Take a wider interest in the Group Protection business, including new products, features, team and department developments, and results.
- Manage Customer Enquiries: Organise and manage the provision of service to give sufficient priority and opportunity to customers wishing to change products, switch provider, submit a claim or make a complaint.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the correct application of regulations and legislation, as set by Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
- Background in Group Protection: A background in group protection, with a strong understanding of products, regulation, and Group Protection processes.
- CII Group Risk Exam: CII Group Risk Exam qualification.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Confident with customers, able to handle direct customer contact effectively on a range of subjects both written and oral.
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Excel and the manipulation of data, with a good understanding of computer-based systems, including Microsoft Office.
