Job Description

**Senior Stress Engineer**

  • **Key Responsibilities**
  • Perform structural analysis and stress calculations for rocket motor systems using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
  • Develop and implement structural test plans to validate FEA models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new rocket motor systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on structural performance and integrity.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation, including structural analysis reports and test plans.

**About the Role**

CBS Butler is seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Engineer to join our Design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our rocket motor systems.

**Requirements**

  • **Education**
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • **Experience**
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEA software.
  • **Skills**
  • Proficient in ABAQUS, Altair-Hyperworks, Fortran, and Matlab.
  • Strong understanding of material science and rheological analysis.
