About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour care and support to vulnerable young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
  • Administer medication and provide personal care to children, maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to National Care Standards.
  • Promote a positive parenting role model and ensure the well-being of children and young people.
Requirements
  • 6 months of prior experience in the UK working in a residential setting with young people aged below 16 years.
  • Flexibility in the roles undertaken and ability to work varied shifts.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Registration under the PVG scheme and full driving license.
  • Obtained or working towards SVQ level 3 and SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable.
