Key Responsibilities- Provide effective patient care, prioritizing workload and developing competencies to safeguard practice and effectiveness in role.
- Work under the direction of a registered healthcare professional, participating in the personal care of patients and developing skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe clinical environment, adhering to Trust policies and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues, using tact and empathy to receive and pass on information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Participate in the support of patients with feeding, providing education and support as required.
- Assist registered healthcare professionals with skin inspections and catheter care, demonstrating an awareness of the importance of keeping the clinical environment safe and clean.
- Contribute to the development of skills and competencies, participating in training and education opportunities to enhance practice and patient care.
- NMC Registration
- BLS & ILS trained
- Preparation for Mentorship
- A1 Assessor course
- Previous acute experience within the NHS
- Demonstrates experience managing deteriorating patients
